This book is primarily a Microsoft Project book and designed to teach project management professionals, who understand the PRINCE2TM methodology, to use Microsoft® Project to plan and control PRINCE2 TM projects. It identifies which PRINCE2 TM processes may be handled with Microsoft Project® 2010 and how the software may be effectively used to assist in managing a project.

Paul Harris’ manual unlocks the power and versatility of Microsoft® Project with a logical presentation of the tool in the context of a PRINCE2™ project scenario.
Microsoft® Project 2010 is an extensive software update with many new functions and as a result this is a complete rewrite of the author’s previous book. This book stays focused on the information required to create and update schedules using Microsoft® Project 2010 by:
·         Explaining which elements PRINCE2TM may be supported by Microsoft® Project and demonstrating how.
·         Showing practical ways that Microsoft Project may be used to manage programmes, portfolios and projects in a PRINCE2TM environment.
·         Concentrating on the core functions required to plan and control a project.
·         Keeping the information relevant to each topic in the appropriate chapter.
·         Providing a quick reference listing of commands at the start of each chapter.
·         Providing a comprehensive index of all topics.
·         The book is aimed at:
·         Project management companies who wish to run their own software training courses or provide their employees with an alternative text to the user manual.
·         Training organizations who require a training manual to run their own training courses.
·         People who wish to learn the software, however, are unable to attend a formal training course.
