This is the author’s second book of tanka; a collection of tanka prose, sequences, strings and duets interspersed with an abundance of singles on various subjects like the one below.
    
A tanka is a complete song or story, written in five lines or thirty one syllables. ( 5-7-5-7-7 )  It lends itself to so many subjects, not just the notes passed between lovers as in the original form.  Everyday  occurrences and all things encompassed by nature  now celebrated in verse.
